I just watched the documentary “Stress: Portrait of a Killer”. It illustrates
how prolonged exposure to stress can ruin our health in a multitude of ways.
We are more vulnerable to the adverse effects of stress if we feel like we have no control, no way out, feel like things are getting
worse, and have little social support.
Some common health conditions that can be caused or worsened by stress
include cardiac disease, high blood pressure, reduced immune function, infertility, and depression.
